Congratulations to Aaron Hubery "The Wasp" who came out on top last night following a fantastic win against Jamie Kelly from Wirral Community Club, Liverpool.  Aaron has been out of boxing for 9 months and showed no signs of any ring rust.

 

Aaron travelled almost three hours to Liverpool in front of a large crowd supporting Jamie from his home town.  After the first round Aaron was behind in the fight after he was given a controversial standing count.  He came back after the first minute of the second round and out boxed Jamie.  Aaron threw some fantastic bodyshots slowing his opponent down which made the fight even.  Going into the last round Aaron knew it was level and had to give it his all to win the fight.  His strength, fitness and boxing skills and heavy body shots gave him the victorious win.  

 

Aaron won the fight on a unanimous decision.

 

John Heighington would like to congratulate Aaron on his outstanding performance and was so proud of him winning on the night.

 

Aaron is scheduled to Fight Jamie Kelly on our boxing show next week.  This is a fight not to be missed.
