Shildon ABC would like to congratulate both Peter Roddam and Deacon Winter for putting on an excellent performance at Boldon Boxing Show on Thursday the 4th December.

 

Peter who recently joined the club was first bout of the evening and started the show with an excellent performance winning the fight on a split decision. Having only been with the club with a few weeks he showed no signs of nerves and got straight down to business and did what he had to do to win the fight. 

 

Also on the same evening we had Deacon Winter have his first boxing fight of his amateur career.  Deacon was sixth fight of the evening with a fantastic win on a unanimous decision.  Deacon didn’t show any sign of nerves fighting in front of a large away crowd and dominated the fight from start to finish.  Deacon displayed some excellent boxing skills and am sure his next fight will be just as exciting.

 

Well done to both boxers and it just goes to show hard work and dedication pays off.
